Desmond Carr
Des is a highly experienced senior commercial solicitor. He has worked for leading UK and international law firms, and as in-house counsel at a pioneering software and telecoms business, dealing with a wide range of disputes, contracts, and commercial work.
He founded v3 Legal for businesses who deserve much more from their lawyers.

Stuff we don't do

We don't handle injury claims, family law, criminal matters, employment, wills and probate, or residential conveyancing. If your query falls into one of those areas, we're not the right firm for you.
We plan to expand our services in due course to include commercial property and heavier corporate work such as M&A, but not right now.
What we charge

We offer fixed fees or hourly rates, whatever suits the work. Our preference is to agree a price or a budget in advance. That is not always possible, especially in litigation.
But we work hard to ensure transparency, which means no surprises in terms of our fees, and regular updates on legal spend.
Contact and communication

Clients deal directly with a senior lawyer — not a receptionist or an assistant or a junior. We pride ourselves on keeping our clients in the loop at all times, with prompt responses and advice which is straight to the point.
We communicate how our clients communicate, whether in person, on the phone, email, or secure instant message. When telepathy goes live, we'll use that too.
